Who We Are

We are 5 crazy crafters specializing in hand stamped cards. Since 2008 we have been known as Team Endless Hope at the Tempe Relay for Life held in Tempe, Arizona.

Cards for a Cure was founded when Joanne, a retired beautician and cancer fighter and her granddaughter Courtney decided that they could turn their hobby into a fundraiser to support the American Cancer Society. From that point they began recruiting their other crafty family members. Joanne's daughters, Karen and Vicki (Courtney's mother) and Courtney's grandmother Sheila have joined them on their path to help find a cure to cancer.

Joanne is our motivation and what keeps us stamping! She was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in October 2006. After attending chemo treatments twice a month she was pronounced cancer free in June 2007. Upon going in for her 6 month check up they determined that she still has a hot spot and she has been attending chemo treatments since.

Courtney introduced us to Relay for Life in 2008 and has since become a committee member and volunteers her time to many American Cancer Society events and has become an amazing crafter in such a short time.

Karen and Vicki like to stamp in their free time on the weekends to escape their weekday madness at work.

Sheila is very active in card swaps and donates her work to the cause.

Now that you know who we are and what we are about please feel free to browse our blog and if you have any questions you're more than welcome to ask!!
